Founded from Katia Gounou’s vision to create opportunities for girls who face educational and financial challenges, the Foundation provides educational support, mentorship, personal development, and guidance to help young girls grow with confidence and purpose.

Starting Where the Need and the Vision Began
Côte d’Ivoire is where Katia’s story began, and it remains at the heart of the Foundation’s mission.
After leaving Côte d’Ivoire as a young girl to pursue her education in the United States, Katia Gounou experienced firsthand how access to opportunity can change the direction of a young person’s life.
The Foundation was created to help make those opportunities more accessible to girls in Côte d’Ivoire, particularly those who are talented, motivated, and facing financial or educational challenges.
Our work begins in Côte d’Ivoire with a vision that extends beyond borders: to help create a future where more African girls have the opportunity to learn, grow, and pursue their ambitions.

The Honor’s Club brings together bright young girls who want to develop their skills, broaden their perspectives, and become part of a community of aspiring women leaders.
Members have opportunities to develop their potential, experience community involvement, connect with peers who share similar ambitions, and benefit from a network of professional mentors.
